Well I'm not braggin babe so don't put me down
But I've got the fastest set of wheels in town
When something comes up to me he don't even try
Causes if I had a set of wings man I know she could fly
She's my little deuce coupe
You don't know what I got.
Beach Boys
Remember the Little Red Engine that could?
I think I can
I think I can
I Know I can!
Ode to Snowy
She waited at the curb through chilly Melbourne days,
Til Billy said the word, "Come on, no more delays."
The dust was washed away, the spiders fled in droves,
Then into her cupboards went swags and food and clothes.
Her purpose now fulfilled, she drove with all her might,
Northward bound she took us
That little car of white.
Small, she may be
Compared to all the rest
But we know little Snowy is better than the best.
Not everybody knows her
As we both know her well.
They think it's size that matters
So they tow a grand hotel.
Some turn their heads with ridicule
Some mock and scoff and sneer.
But into special camping spots
Those big rigs don't get near.
They may have all the comforts
Very nice by all accounts
But when it comes down to the wire
It's never size that counts.
